# Contactless Payment

#### **Using your card with Apple Pay and Google Pay**

Cards on the **Virtual** plan can be added to **Apple Pay and Google Pay**.

This allows you to pay contactlessly during your travels, including:

* hotels
* shops and retail stores
* restaurants and cafés
* any location that supports contactless payments

#### Verification when adding a card

When adding your card to Apple Pay or Google Pay, a $0 verification transaction is used to link the card.

Sometimes a small fee may be charged, which can lead to a negative balance if there are not enough funds.

We recommend:

* checking your card balance before adding it to Apple Pay or Google Pay
* making sure there is a small amount available on the card to cover possible verification fees
